Local Attractions to Manyana

The sleepy beachside villages of Manyana and Bendalong share a peninsula surrounded by Conjola National Park. It is perfect for bike riding, bush walking, and 4-wheel driving.

Manyana and Inyadda beaches have waves to suit everyone. Green Island boasts a famous left hand break for keen surfers.

Local world champion surfer Pam Burridge’s also lives and runs a Surf School in the area. Pam also rents gear, and former Australian champion and World number 2 Mark Rabbidge designs, shapes and sells boards through his Retro board’s factory, which you pass on the way to Manyana.

Lake Conjola and Berringer Lake both offer magnificent scenery, with tranquil coves and even great fishing, but are also full of quiet, natural habitats for the vast array of wildlife in this area.

The historic township of Milton is a short, 20 min drive away, offering great dining, shopping, and weekend markets every Sunday. This area is becoming well known for its antique stores, local artists and eclectic cafes. Milton Theatre hosts some top-class live music.

30 minutes down the road is Mollymook and Ulladulla, which has the main super markets, fabulous fish markets and bakeries. It also boasting some of the best golf courses and bowling on the coast.

Jervis Bay, around 40 minutes drive north, is a world-heritage listed marine park. The diving is said to be some of the best in Australia outside of the Great Barrier Reef.

The Budawangs, Boyd National Park and Pidgeon House Mountain offer bush-walking at all levels as well as an off-road experience.
